Pearl luster - The luster of a freshwater pearl means how well the pearl can reflect the light. The more light reflected and the more clearer the image, the better the luster of a pearl, the more expensive of a pearl. Admittedly, the lusters of freshwater pearls are different from those seawater pearls because of many factors.
Pearl size - We also have a large variety of pearl sizes, which also effects the value. Generally, under the similar other value factors, the larger the pearl is, the more valuable it is. Now it is often seen pearls with size of 6-8mm. But for those pearls sized greater than 9mm, the value would increase dramatically.
